Norcross

Norcross, once described as Atlanta's favorite summer resort and promoted as the healthiest locale on the globe, was established as a railroad stop in 1870 during Southern Reconstruction and is a city of Gwinnett County firsts, including the first library, apartment building, county fire station, automotive manufacturing plant, and the first city listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
